It intrigues me sometimes how people want to change something that’s been a part of their body ever since they were born. Like wanting to buy a stainless steel sinks. The idea of change may be inspired by the fact that there are, as society deems them to be, “prettier” people but to me, the difference of appearances itself is what’s beautiful to me.
I guess “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” really holds true; especially for me. I get really disappointed at people who changes some part of their body artificially; even just changing the color of hair. The idea abhors me because by changing yourself, you’re actually reducing diversity of looks and creating a stereotype.
Be who you are. That’s what I say.
