Today begins the official start of the holy week; holy Monday. During these times in the Philippines, most people go to their provinces to celebrate the lenten season with family. Others, Roman Catholic or not, choose to spend the week as vacation in other countries or vacation spots, rv towing too. The religious followers however deem this particular practice not ideal.
The holy week is the annual holiday where the Roman Catholic community grieves and remembers the sacrifice Jesus Christ made. During this week he undergoes a lot of sufferings which leads to his death on the cross and to his rising from the death on Sunday. For very Roman Catholic people, Sunday (Easter Sunday) is the only day where people are allowed to rejoice again because Jesus Christ has risen from the death.
