Life is tough. As much as some people may say that life is a party and we are the rockstars, for most of us, it’s jst not that way. Life is easy and life has become a rollercoaster-like journey with its thrills and frills. Let’s face that facts: life is sometimes grand and sometimes it isn’t. It’s a great thing that humans are a very sociable lot. For the most parts of our lives which were tough, our family and friends were there to support us.
For the dark times in one’s life, we share our woes to the ones who are closest to us because we know they got our back. No matter how far we’ve vendured to the pit, they’d always lend a hand for us to climb out.
We are gifted with friends who may not understand us at all times but then again, be assured that they do try very hard. We are each other’s shrink with the way we share our lives and the way they help us get through it scarred, maybe, but definitely not defeated. They are the most effective shrinks because they know us intimately. They can understand from a single glance, a simple gesture or even the silence we abhor the things we want to say without saying a single word.
